The Playsuit's Debut!

So, I bought this playsuit a few weeks ago now from Missguided after months of eyeing it up! The time finally came and when I ripped open the parcel I was grinning with delight. A few days after I received the item, I decided to debut it on a trip to one of the most beautiful places I've seen; Oxford University.

I've decided to make this post a mixture of lifestyle and an OOTD so here it is! In case you didn't know, Oxford University is one of top universities in Britain (alongside Cambridge) and probably one of the best in the world. I was fortunate enough to be able to visit the place on an Open Day and it was very memorable indeed.

I won't bore you with where we went and what we saw and everything, but I will share with you some pictures of some of the colleges and buildings there as they are breathtaking!

Back to the playsuit:P I personally adore playsuits as they're extremely comfortable and the designs are always very pretty and lovely. This one is the best I've seen since I've been looking as the structure of it makes it more appropriate to wear in the day and evening, as well as the fact that it isn't something that you can only wear on the beach. I find it very flattering as the structure of the shoulders and the lower hip balance each other out, making you look perfectly proportioned!

The pattern is beautiful and I know that I'll get SO much wear out of this! On this particular day I decided to accessorize in a minimal way, with a simple silver necklace and two silver and pearl bracelets to tie the look together. I went for minimal accessorizing as the pattern of the playsuit makes such a statement by itself! I chose to wear these nude pumps but that was a HUGE mistake as I got awful blisters from them and I was sadly in pain for the afternoon.

Nevertheless I still had a wonderful day and I will never forget it (cheesy but true). Have any of you visited Oxford?

Cute but Casual Summer Outfit: Guess Lookbook

Happy Easter for all of you that celebrate it! I hope you're enjoying your spring holidays or "spring break". So the other day, the sun appeared and so it was nice and warm and short appropriate weather! I found myself wearing my vintage, Guess shorts out in the garden and I thought it was the perfect opportunity to add another outfit to my look book.

I wasn't too sure what to call this outfit, in the end I settled for Cute but Casual. Because I went with some bold and colourful accessories I felt like wearing a plain, basic, black t-shirt from H&M.

Of course, since 'the' bag has entered my life, it had to make an appearance in-action! I love the contrast it has against the black top and I think it's very summery and adds a pop of colour.

To go with the bag, I went for two bracelets; one is a loom bracelet and the other is just a pretty, bright pink bracelet from a market in Spain.

I also feel that the loom bracelet ties in with these cute little pumps from Peacocks that are really comfy and handy for summer because of the little holes in them for your feet to breathe a bit more.

The sun started to get in my eyes so I grabbed my blue shades that were part of my previous look with the shorts. I've used these again because they are my go-to sunglasses this spring.

I think this is a sweet yet chilled out look for summer and just show how versatile these shorts are in comparison to my last look of 'smart-casual'. I hope you enjoyed this post and enjoy your Easter and/or holidays!

My New Summer Bag!

Hold on folks, a new bag has arrived. Many women spend days, weeks even months finding their perfect spring/summer bag - i was lucky to have found mine when i wasn't even looking or planning in buying a bag! I was shopping in Belfast the other day with no intention of buying a bag as I haven't really seen anything on the high street worth buying. But, i was passing Accessorize and in the window, displayed beautifully was my bag. I knew that it would be my bag the second i saw it! Although being so indecisive i debated whether to buy it or not... After some convincing by my friend, mum and myself i handed over £25 at the till and it was mine!

Yellow isn't even a colour I'd normally go for, I dont think i own anything yellow so I've definitely stepped out of my comfort zone but I'm so happy i have. The structure is so gorgeous and is again different for me since i usually go for a satchel or Cath Kidston handbag without much structure. So all-in-all, this is an out-of-comfort-zone purchase:P

I think this will go with everything as it's a pastel-muted yellow. Also, there's an extension strap inside which will turn it into a more casual bag, sitting just below the waist. The quality is really good and definitely worth the money (and more!) and I know I'll use this everyday of the summer!

This may not be the bag for you for whatever reason but i highly recommend Accessorize for bags this season as they have a beautiful selection of different styles and colours. So if you're struggling finding your perfect bag for a reasonable price then head over to accessorize and it should help!

Oh my, Chanel?!

Well, well, well. How could such a classic, simple bag be so complex when it comes to purchasing?! Of course I'm talking about Chanel.

Now, I wish I could send all of you lovely readers one of the bags above, but unfortunately the price tag is enough to put most people into cardiac arrest.

Chanel bags are a classic. Always have and always will be. These Couture pieces would go with any outfit as there's no crazy pattern or bold print on it. We must wonder, if a piece of such high quality, extremely wearable and will last forever, is really worth spending nearly thousands of pounds on.

A lot of people don't understand the time and effort that's put into couture pieces and that they are very hard to copy or create a 'look-a-like' of. In foreign markets like Spanish markets, I've seen "Chanel" bags sold very often, with people telling you that it's "REAL!" Of course, we know it isn't as you would never find a Chanel bag for 20 Euros!

These bags are one of a kind and a pang of jealousy rushes through me if I see someone with such an eye catching piece haha.

Beautiful. Chic. Elegant. Classy.

If you are someone who loves Chanel then don't give up on buying one of these gorgeous works of art as they are amazing and you can't find much, if anything like this! I'm certainly not giving up anytime soon!
