Spanish Nights...

Oh how I adore those warm Spanish evenings where you don't need to worry about taking a jacket or a pair of tights "just in case". You can pop on a dress, shoes and some sunglasses and head out for a lovely cocktail and dinner.

Near the villa there is a steak house called Patagonia Steak House and oh my. The steak there is surely the best steak I've ever consumed. You know when something is so good that you get emotional and want to cry? That was one of those times. I won't blabber on about it since this isn't a 'steak review blog' :P

On that night I originally wanted to wear my white babydoll shift dress from, ASOS. However, due to a chocolate chip cookie incident I had to change to this mint green number from H&M - which I love nonetheless!

It's simplicity makes it so elegant but the style still keeps it youthful,  not forgetting the back detailing adding a sense of sensuality to the look.

To excentuate my waist I added a cut out brown faux leather belt from H&M which I feel adds more dimension to the dress. My shoes of choice were of course from River Island which added to the youthfulness and my black, oversized sunglasses are from Urban Outfitters which I find extremely chic and they topped off the outfit!

The Playsuit's Debut!

So, I bought this playsuit a few weeks ago now from Missguided after months of eyeing it up! The time finally came and when I ripped open the parcel I was grinning with delight. A few days after I received the item, I decided to debut it on a trip to one of the most beautiful places I've seen; Oxford University.

I've decided to make this post a mixture of lifestyle and an OOTD so here it is! In case you didn't know, Oxford University is one of top universities in Britain (alongside Cambridge) and probably one of the best in the world. I was fortunate enough to be able to visit the place on an Open Day and it was very memorable indeed.

I won't bore you with where we went and what we saw and everything, but I will share with you some pictures of some of the colleges and buildings there as they are breathtaking!

Back to the playsuit:P I personally adore playsuits as they're extremely comfortable and the designs are always very pretty and lovely. This one is the best I've seen since I've been looking as the structure of it makes it more appropriate to wear in the day and evening, as well as the fact that it isn't something that you can only wear on the beach. I find it very flattering as the structure of the shoulders and the lower hip balance each other out, making you look perfectly proportioned!

The pattern is beautiful and I know that I'll get SO much wear out of this! On this particular day I decided to accessorize in a minimal way, with a simple silver necklace and two silver and pearl bracelets to tie the look together. I went for minimal accessorizing as the pattern of the playsuit makes such a statement by itself! I chose to wear these nude pumps but that was a HUGE mistake as I got awful blisters from them and I was sadly in pain for the afternoon.

Nevertheless I still had a wonderful day and I will never forget it (cheesy but true). Have any of you visited Oxford?

Summery Day Out-fit!

Here's another addition to my Guess Shorts series! I wore this outfit a few days ago down to Cardiff Bay and so I thought I would share it with you, especially as I wore my vintage shorts.

It was a relatively hot day so this outfit was well suited for the weather as the crepe material of the cami and kimono was breathable, as well as the baggy-ness of the shorts - nothing was clinging on to me which is always great in warm weather!

A cami vest top is a staple piece for your wardrobe in Summer as it's lightweight and is easy to layer and match with! This one was from New Look last year and I just love the Royal Blue colour!

The kimono is a new item in my life and is also from New Look (their Summer collections are always great, I find!) The numerous colours in it make it so wearable and easy to pair with so many tops and bottoms! £19.99 which is fantastic as it's very nice quality - just the right thickness!

My shoes of choice were my Vans which I've had for so long (I think it's time to buy some new ones:P) but the colour matched my top and I wanted to be comfortable!

I love the way this outfit is put together as it has a mix of urban and my preferred floral and girly-girl look!
